Does the financial year 2024-25 compliance calendar still set the due dates?
No. Financial year 2024-25 ended on 31 March 2025. The calendar for that year does not set the dates a company or an LLP uses now.
Which year has closed?
The year ran from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025. Its annual general meetings, its AOC-4 and MGT-7 filings, its LLP forms, and its listed-company reports for that year have passed. An older note that described the same table as financial year 2023-24 was naming the wrong year. The 2020 calendar is a still earlier closed year.
Which company dates are standing?
A company whose year ends on 31 March holds its annual general meeting by 30 September. AOC-4 follows within 30 days of the meeting. MGT-7, or MGT-7A for a small company, follows within 60 days. Those steps are on the annual compliances page and the annual general meeting page. The financial statements themselves are on the financial statements page.
For that year, DIR-3 KYC was an annual filing by 30 September, and it was not a July form. From 31 March 2026 the intimation is Form DIR-3 KYC Web, by 30 June of every third consecutive financial year. MSME-1, where it applies, is due on 31 October for April to September and on 30 April for October to March. The first auditor is appointed by the board within 30 days of incorporation, and ADT-1 is not filed for that board appointment. ADT-1 is filed within 15 days of the appointment the members make. The appointment is on the auditor page.
Four board meetings are the ordinary rule, with not more than 120 days between them. A small company, a one person company, a start-up, or a dormant company can hold one meeting in each half of the calendar year, with at least 90 days between them. The meeting rule is on the board meetings page.
Which LLP dates are standing?
Form 11 is due on 30 May. Form 8 is due on 30 October. An LLP has no annual general meeting, no MGT-7, and no AOC-4. Both forms are on the LLP compliance page.
What should this page not be used for?
It should not be used for a listed company’s listing-regulation calendar from that year, and it does not set dates under the foreign-exchange law or for external commercial borrowings. GST dates are on the GST returns page.
